I absolutely loved my stay at Hen Pen! The room was cozy and had a homey vibe. The view from the window was breathtaking. There were three bathrooms equipped with bidets, which was a pleasant surprise for a backpacker like me. It made me feel like I was staying in a luxurious hotel!
The only thing I didn't love was the lack of a mini fridge in the room. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The garden was great for barbecues, but I couldn't find a flamingo float for the pool. The towels were provided, so I didn't have to bring my own. The hiking trails were so close, I didn't even have time to get out of breath.
No flamingo floats for the pool. How disappointing.

River views: Sitting on the patio, sipping my morning coffee, I couldn't help but marvel at the breathtaking river views that stretched out before me. It felt like being in a painting, with nature's brushstrokes creating a serene and picturesque setting. Absolutely magical!
Limited bathrooms: Only 3 bathrooms for a large group can be a bit challenging.

The holiday home had plenty of space for everyone and the layout of the living area was great for keeping an eye on the kids. The quality of construction and furnishings was high, and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The open views of the countryside were beautiful, especially being near a running farm. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the welcome treats were a nice touch. The property easily accommodated our 3-generation family of 6, and could have comfortably fit even larger groups. Farm tours were also available upon request, which was a great option.
The location was quite peaceful and quiet, but it was a bit remote, so having a car is ideal for getting around.
